Sacred Innovations is the creation of Gary Baker, an inventor, and an entrepreneur who has long been fascinated by energy and how it works. The development of Gary's interest in "energy" in the mid 1980s followed a life-long attraction to things electronic and mechanical -- a connection which baffled even Gary at times....

"For as long as I can remember, I have been aware of energy. For years, I did not consciously grasp how this understanding worked," Gary recalls about the seeds of his life's passion, which showed promise in his early years.

He took to building electronic gadgets, bikes and go-carts as a youngster, and even developed a device to study the airflow around aircraft propellers after having carved one himself out of wood. Gary gravitated to formal study of electronics engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing at Algonquin College in Ottawa. In recent years he has been designing and creating custom machines for a wide range of applications. Machines ranging from computer controlled manufacturing equipment, devices to assist the physically disabled, and equipment for neutron radiography ( a non-destructive process for testing aircraft components).

Along the way, it became more clear to him that our society's "understanding" of how energy works has not always kept up with our attempts to harness it. "We need a clear understanding of what is 'going on' ", he says. There are methods and therapies in the healing arts, for example, which often work, but there does not seem to be concrete understanding of "why" they work. Good things happen, but we don't always know why.

"To the high tech or scientific communities the concept of working with energy that cannot yet be 'measured' seems outrageous. I hope that my work can one day help to bridge the imaginary gap between 'science' and 'energy'. If we had a stronger grasp and a clearer knowledge of the nature of energy, our work at applying it to healing, to efficient manufacture, to effective and sensible products would expand rapidly", he says. "I feel my role is to bring into the physical, examples of these applications and machines. By doing so, I can demonstrate what is possible and what makes sense. This is a crucial role that needs to be filled. In Time, as our understanding of the model of the universe expands, we will modify our 'accepted' laws of physics to include phenomena which is currently not acknowledged. Only then will we realize that there is no separation between 'science' and 'energy'."

"Many people are doing research. My area of expertise is to take the ideas people have about devices and bring them into physical reality. If we can understand, we can further the effectiveness through refinement." Gary counts among those who have inspired him, Nicola Tesla and his work in high energy electrical systems, Robert Monroe and his work with hemi-sync brainwave study, Kenneth Killick and his work with pyramids and standing columnar waves, as well as Hans Jenny and his exploration of wave phenomena, vibrational effects and harmonic oscillations.
